face tanning device Look Good = Feel Good !

Today, controlled tanning and safety aspects involved are more important than ever. This makes UV tanning lamps that tan the skin gently while neither neglecting the vital bio-positive factors for humans nor conformities with national legislation more valuable than ever. Regulated sunbathing offers numerous bio-positive factors for humans. For example: reduction of stress and tension, increase of performance and well-feeling, release of happiness hormones. In short, soaking up the sun makes you happy and feel good !

A balanced person has a positive appearance. Our skin looks vital and well rested, instead of tired.

Tanners enjoy positive psychological and perceived positive social benefits resulting from having tanned skin.

THE PLUS OF VITAMIN D ?

The sun vitamin D (which our body builds by UV light in a natural way) is very important for our health. Indeed, it ensures the smooth functioning of most cells and organs, strengthens the immune system and our bones (absorption of calcium in the body) and can protect against various cancers (e.g. intestine and prostate cancer). Regular sunbathing protects against vitamin D deficiency. source : cosmedico.de

It has been recommended by various health organizations studying the phenomena that moderate exposure to UV light has a net health benefit.

Why a FaCIAL Tanning Lamp ?

Tanning your face can be tricky to get right ... especially with a sunless solutions (spray tans and tanning lotions).

The main disadvantage to spray tans is the color only lasts for around a week. The color will fade as your skin sheds dead skin cells. It is also difficult to get spray tans during the summer as sweat, chlorine, and salt water can strip the color. Another disadvantage is unevenness. If directions are not followed correctly, then you can end up with an uneven tan especially around fingers, elbows, knees and wrists.

Indoor-tanning is a light therapy utilizing the exposure of moderate amounts of UV over a reasonable amount of time to skin from UV sources other than the sun.

What are the benefits of tanning at home ? Privacy, comfort, convenience, relaxing and refreshing any time you want.

You deserve your own sun lamp. In addition, the UV tanning lamps can increase vitamin D uptake while achieving a sun-kissed golden glow.

Hardly anyone still wants to be deeply tanned, but a slight tan is a desired ideal of beauty. With quality UV lamps the tanning effect can be dosed and controlled according to skin type and desired degree.

How Many Lamps do I need on my Home Face Tanning Lamp?

If you’re thinking of buying a home tanning lamp, you may be wondering how many lamps you really need to get the tan you want. Most face tanning systems include an even number of lamps, 4, 6, 8. Our Face tanning lamp is fitted with 12 UV lamps in order to reach the face, the throat and neckline area. It is unique in Europe.

In addition, increasing the number of lamps shortens tan times, and that adds up to faster results ! One possible problem introduced with a lower number of tubes is striping, but this should not be a problem if the tubes incorporate built-in reflectors to disperse light and guarantee even coverage.

Quality of UV light is crucial.

How to find the perfect at-home tanning solution ?

How much time do you have to devote to home face tanning ? Are you planning on developing a base tan ? maintaining a salon tan between studio visits ? or tanning exclusively at home ?

12 Tubes UV Face Tanner is the solution.

What are you looking for ? only face tanning or for the whole body ? Experience shows that people only need face (and neckline) tanning in the winter season. If you’re looking to add an at-home tanning system to an existing home gym, space is probably not an issue. But, if you live in a small house or apartment, you may want to consider a portable model.

UVA or UVB ?

The most common method of skin tanning involves the process of exposing skin to ultra-violet light (UV). Our skin is tanned by invisible ultraviolet radiation from the sun. This radiation darkens the pigment already present in our skin and stimulates the formation of more pigment known as melanin. The production of new melanin cells and the darkening of these make the skin stay tanned longer.

The sun emits UVR in the form of A, B, and C waves. Ultraviolet A radiation (UVA), which colors the pigment cells brown, and ultraviolet B radiation (UVB), which stimulates the production of melanin cells, but also causes sunburn, are the most well-known types. See more about UV light.

Our facial tanner provides mostly UVA radiation so that the danger of sunburn is precluded. UVA has the best capability of tanning skin. UVB does not produce a tan in the third layer of skin but in the second.

Skin Phototype

The human race has different skin tones, ranging from pale white to black, which are classified into 4-6 main phototypes. Skin phototype, influences the skin’s response to UV radiation. In order to make the best use of your sun lamp, first check your skin type using the following table. The skin-type classification is based on the amount of melanin present in the skin before additional melanin has been created by melanogenesis.

Be sure to follow the tanning recommendations for your skin type. It is common knowledge that UV over long exposure periods damages the skin in various ways. Therefore, it is desirable to limit the exposure of UV radiation to skin. Alternatively, some UV exposure is generally considered necessary in order to maintain good health. Although the skin's cells and structures are identical irrespective of phototype, melanin density and disposition is different : the darker the skin, the larger the melanocytes and the greater the amount of melanin they produce.
